Dr. Eversley earned her PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in clinical molecular genetics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and by the New York State Department of Health in genetics testing.

Dr. Eversley has extensive professional experiences directing laboratory operations in private practice offering prenatal genetic testing, high volume industry laboratory offering a broad menu of genetic testing options and a start-up lab focusing on bringing genetic testing to Africa. She was previously the National Discipline Director at LabCorp’s Center for Molecular Biology and Pathology and is a member of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics as well as member of several professional organizations.

Dr. Eversley was inspired to pursue a career in medical genetics by watching her mother live with a rare disease of unknown etiology. When not working, Dr. Eversley enjoys spending time with her family, experiencing new cultures, and traveling the world.
